Im sure someone out there has wired a sub in the center console. Does it work?
I have a 2002 sport, the center console on the side it has a grill that looks like it could accomodate a sub but there is some cutting and modifying involved as far as I can see. Some advice would be gratly appreciated if any Jeepers have done this mod before.
Thanks.
The newbie.

I think Quadratec actually sells a replacement center console with a place for a sub.

I've never seen that b4. Post some pics if you install it.

Yea, 4WDH catalog has a couple of those, and one's by Qad-tec. Nifty little idea, and it looks good when it's done. Contemplating doing it when I strip and rebuild my 94.

I've been contemplating one of these

due to the lack of space for a sub. I got the following as a reply to a query as to whether you could use one instead of a sub.

"In your instance the Silent Subwoofer can be used as replacement for a
traditional subwoofer. Our demo vehicle does not have a subwoofer but most
people think it does. You of course, could also use a sub if you like."

They also do an 800 watt amp to drive it.

If anyone has tried one I'd like to hear about it.
