She did do some "roll" racing with arrogant people on the highway with her old 97 Sebring, but it was pretty piss slow as well for my taste. She had a Ford Windstar, and me and a crew of buddies would always go out in it challenging other vans/suvs(we were young). That van was damn quick out of the hole(front wheel drive).

My friend has the I-4 2.0L 5-speed and it's a nice little car... It has the 420a engine which I've heard was in a neon or was it the eclipse n/a...

^^^ its a 2.4 liter and its very simular to the eclipse........420a.....the neon dohc is a420 with the manifold in the front.........

neons only came with 2.0l sohc and dohc....alot of the first gen owners swap out the motors to a 2.4l stratus, breeze, ect.....

Yeah, the Avenger is a nice car. My friend's has the short lip wing on the trunk, alloy rims stock. It rides pretty comfy for NJ roads too, but aftermarket springs would probably stiffen up nicely. The interior is pretty decent too (minus stock CD player not working) but the backseat area seems kind of cheap... the arm rest cubbies on the side are flush with the seat bottom... haha.
