Have no heat in car since August, heater cord was disconnected, but just today the fan engaged, without being turned on, and upon startup, the rec (recycle) air button and the air off (for air conditioner) lights flash for approx 30 seconds then go off. I can't seen to stop the fan from running. Any suggestions of what is wrong? or where can I get some information on this problem>:banghead:

The Climate COntrol computer is having issues. Anytime both those lights flash means it's throwing codes. I'd scan the codes through the diagnostic port and see what it says.

Thanks! I will do as you suggested. Also note, since last writing this email, I was able to rectify the fan issue, albeit strange. If I decrease the internal light slide (the one that dims the dashboard lights) the fan goes off...if I increase it, the fan engages again. It also gets activated by the headlights being turned on. really strange, but at least I'm not driving around in the winter with no heat and a cool fan blowing at me.

that is odd. never heard of that.
