Hi gang,

I'm tired of buying P185 60R 15 tires. They run about $110 a piece regardless of brand; I'd like to run cheaper tires - what other tires will fit my rims, or what other (used) rims that take a different tire size will fit?

thanks,
Kevin

Don't know where you live, as I recently purchased two in the Pep Boys house brand for my daughter's car ($50 ea.), and have found that tires in that size are becoming at least a bit more prolific.

If you have a Costco nearby, they have a BF Goodrich Traction TA in a 195 60 15 (slightly wider) for about $72.00. This price includes complete installation, lifetime balancing, and road hazard protection. It's a 60K tire with great rain/snow traction and long treadlife. Goodrich also has a Touring or Touring Pro TA that is available at Costco and Sam's club. These tires are rated 80K mile treadlife for the ZX2-Cool (185 65 14). Check the high ratings on these tires at tirerack.com.
