I was driving in town one night when up ahead at the light I saw a Ferrari. Now I thought my car was pretty fast, but I thought I see how I tested up against a Ferrari. I pulled up next to him and reved my engine, and he looked over next to me and gave his a light rev. We both waited for the light to turn green, anxiously waiting to hit the gas and drop the clutch. The light changed, and his car got abt a half to a full car length ahead of me before I started rolling! He then just easily flew away as my car started gaining speed. It was like my car wasnt even moving. Hats off to you, Ferrari.

He means he still has the stock VX engine which came off a lawn mower and added an intake, headers and muffler (note: not exhaust), which were good for another 2.78 WHP. :banghead:

My 3kgt n/a seems fast to me b/c it is one of the fastest cars I've ever driven but I'd still never run agianst a Ferrari (unless it was an early 80' late 70's slower models) or a Vette.

After buying a snowmobile that does 0-60 in about 3.5 sec no car really feels fast to me anymore. I guess that might change if I ever get to drive a Z06 Corvette.

My guess is the Ferrari had to have something more than just nawzz to take that win (j/k:iceslolan ) . My guess is he just used the odd gears to shift:smokin: .

My Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera felt fast until I drove my dad's friend's V6 Camaro. The Camaro felt fast until I drove my Eclipse. I'm sure the '67 Shelby GT-500 I drove would have felt the fastest if I had more open roads, I didn't light up the tires at half-throttle and I wasn't afraid of it :). It's all relative.

yeah i guess speed is relative, my old 95 2.2L 115HP cavalier felt fast till i drove my 2.4L Cavalier Z24, then i supercharged it, its like a never ending line of faster cars.

One thing i have noticed, the faster my car gets, the slower i drive it. Its no longer safe to just punch the gas for a few seconds anywhere, because compared to my first car, i can be going upwards of 15 MPH faster than i would be before. So before i could be in a 45MPH zone and punch the gas for a few seconds and be doing 60 MPH, now if i do that im doing like 70-75MPH.

I put my 95 Civic EX up against a 360 Modena once. Only because I wanted to watch it smoke me. Don't get many of those up around me. So far my count on exotic cars is 2 911's, 2 Vipers, 1 360, and 1 Enzo. All of which I tried to 'race'. :grinyes:

Doubt it, the man in the Ferrari revved back. An even though people may have very fast cars such as ferarris they dont just rod the piss out of them everywhere they go.

I've come across plenty of porsches and ferraris. Every time I see them they are 14 cars away in traffic that even if I could catch them it would be a race to see who could ram the ass of another car first :eek: because there is so much traffic.
