Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone knows how many channels my Xterra abs braking system has. It is a 2002 XE 4x4 with the enthusiasts package appearance package. It also has the V6.

4WD is 4-sensor 3-channel, 2WD is 3-sensor 3-channel.

Thanks for getting back to me. What's happening is the gutter side wheel hits snow and the driver side wheel is on dry pavement. When braking the ABS kicks in and braking power is dimminished. I thought a 3 channel system was supposed to stop that? Maybe my ABS is not working properly. Get back to me please. Thanks for your help !

Sounds normal to me. If the ABS kicks in on both right wheels, then both rear wheels and the right front will respond, which will certainly equal a reduction in braking power.

Thanks again . I never thought about that . I guess that was silly for me to think like that. I guess I will just get some tires with some more bite for the snow and ice. The general grabbers don't grab much . Thanks again offroadx!
