Hi all, I have a '94 S-10 2WD that I get unusual tire wear on the passenger front tire around the edge of the tire. I changed the ball joints recently and was wondering if maybe this might be a worn Idler arm? Thanks,

Steve

How bad is the truck out of alignment?

Had it aligned right after the ball joint replacement.

I have heard that some trucks will sit slightly lower on the passenger side for whatever reason. There is a stock kit that you can add that might help, butim not sure where u can get it.

how long does the wear take? old tires or new? could be several things, pitman arm, ideler arm, toe off, or camber off, toe off will be noticed quickly while arms or camber will take time, does the vehical pull?

This is with new tires. The guy that done the alignment said that it was off pretty bad. I thought that I had done an alignment not long ago on it, though. There's a drop from the road onto my driveway when I pull into my house, and I hear like a deep "thud" on the right side when I turn in and drop down. I'm sure the alignment was just off on this thing. I'm gonna get a rotation and balance and keep You guys posted. Thanks for everybody's replies, Y'all are great!

I think that this may be the arm bushings as You've described. When the truck bounces up and down I hear a squeaking coming from the rubber bushing and after further inspection, it has somewhat severe dry-rot. Are these a booger to change? From the looks, I thinking "yes". Thanks
