tcc sylinoid

:banghead: i've got a 98 contour with a 2.5.check engine light is on so i plug in the code reader and it says TCC SYLINOID stuck in the off/on position.what i want to know is what,where,and how do i fix this.i was raised on old cars so i have no clue what this is or how to fix it.if there is anybody who can help me i would greatly appreciate it

I believe TCC stands for torque converter clutch. I have no experience with slushboxes, so I can't offer any more help. You may want to search for "TCC" in the troubleshooting and transaxle forums on contour.org.
