I have a 2002 GT1 and am trying to install a sub and amp into my stock monsoon system. The only piece of information I cannot find is what color the remote wire is. Any help would be appreciated!

theirs a yello wire that is hot when the key is in acc or run. the orange is constant power, blackwhite one is grnd.
But i'll tell you now, it might not work, and or could fry your Monsoon syst. Good Hunting

how would it fry the monsoon amp? I'm not sure that I understand. I thought than the remote was just a signal wire and not a power wire. I already have the amp's power being drawn from the battery?

I found a tip on another forum saying to just run the remote wire for the amp directly to the fuse for the stereo. Does anyone know if there would be any problems with this setup?

thats why i said what wires were what. But a fuse tap should work fine, unless it draws excess curent.
And the reason I said it might fry the amp(s) is if you hook it up wrong , or the ohms/voltages arent the same on the amp(s). So it could blow fuses or amps up. Hope this helps clearify
