Hi guys, never saw this subforum til now.
I drive a 1993 Honda Civic LX sedan. i love it. just about to hit 200k miles on it, still works like a charm. ok, maybe not, its slow, smelly, and beat up. but it works. plus, its aqua! it's a handmedown from my dad, he drives a '05 Camry (:disappoin ) now. anyway, i had intentions of making this car a bit nicer, nothing ricey. just a lil cosmetic cleanup (all those little scratches... can't really be avoided when you live by new york city), i already got clear indicator lights up front, that pic as the old ambers still. That plan is trashed now, cuz some pregnant lady without her lights on hit my car at night, and i've decided to just buy a new one soon. so, there it is! dont let it pwn you on the streets!:smokin:

I have invested a lot on the civic, though (aside from fixing damages from various accidents... stupid un-lisenced bronx drivers...). I have a pretty decent sound system, cost me about a grand. all i can afford with me being a college student and all, and saving up for an old used M3 bimmer, hopefully (or S4). anyway, here's what i've got (so far):
Kenwood 7028 Head Unit
Soundstream 880.2 Amp
[2] 12" Eclipse SW6
Phoenix Gold Octane-R Comps, and Octane-R coax's.

Civic's represent! 200K miles and you live in NYC? Simply amazing that these cars can last so long. Mines a 2000 model, and it's "Iced Teal" - sort of an metallic aqua blue, it has 104K miles and counting.
Here are my "mods":
1. White front turn signal bulbs - $1.74/pair at Wal-mart (and they're perfectly legal! not to mention adds about .000453 HP!)

2. Blaupunkt Monte Carlo CD/MP3 head unit w/ 4 Blaupunkt PCX Speakers (6.5" Front, 6"x9" Rear) - $280 total - VERY nice sound for the price

3. Rear Honda license plate bracket - again another .000453 HP!
