O2 Sensor questionrsublime4life 01-20-2006, 02:36 PM Does anyone know what the proper resistor would be to put into O2 sensor to get the check engine light to turn off? I have no cat on my car. RKSport sells one that looks all pretty but they want like $68 for it. Thanks! Cavalier2000 01-20-2006, 05:38 PM you want to do what. Did you try to put an O2 sensor back there. Casper makes a bug that is supposed to simulate the O2 without being there but it still trows codes becasue of the temp or something, http://www.j-body.org/~gatewayjbody/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2985 here you go read this. it's form the local car club RahX 01-20-2006, 06:27 PM you cant just put a resistor in and think itll work. an o2 produces voltage so you would have to use a simulator if you dont want a downstream o2. vamc 01-21-2006, 12:42 AM The resister may cause more problems and make your car run ruff. Not a good buy in my opinion. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
