Grandson decided to change oil in his 2001 Elantra and ended up stripping the threads on the oil pan where drain plug goes in (too much King Kong). I am considerting using an oversize, self threading, drain plug to make things right, any other suggestions. I assume I am looking at a 14MMX1.50 threaded plug (OEM) and I will need to go one size larger (comments).
