No can do, man. The putty's still fresh, won't dry fully until tomorrow morning. I've test fitted the headlight lens and they are pretty tight, have to sand the body down alittle.

Oops, sorry to confuse you there. The one on the left used to be a Revell ITR with the 4 round headlights. I've converted it to the Japanese front according to the one on the right. By Mugen, I put a Mugen bumper and side skirt on the Revell ITR. Hope this clear things up:D

looking good, can't wait to see it finished. I decided to take the other route though and I'm installing a resin cast of the type-r engine in the fujimi ITR kit. In your case, most of the hard work is on shaping the body, mine is on shaping the engine bay :( I wonder who has a harder job? Don't forget the pictures when you're done! btw, what color is it going to be?

Thanks for comments everyone.:D

bri g: I can't say mine was hard work, just time consuming. You'll have to work around the engine being 1/25 scale. And making a whole new engine bay.....shouldn't be too hard, just use some styrene sheets as base. Since I'm not using the engine for the Revell model, it'll be going into the fujimi one (the right one in the picture). I've already got the engine mounts completed. Please post some pics of how you'll fit the engine when you are doing it. :) I'm keeping my Revell ITR white for a pure Mugen look.

I appreciate the work but I am still lost, why did you put the mugen front end on the integra instead of just buying the mugen version?

if its for the engine, why did'nt you just put the revell engine into the already mugen integra?

OK, sorry to be confusing.
For those who haven't been following my post, here's the deal.
I have 1 Revell ITR, and 1 Fujumi Mugen ITR
The plan is to transplant the Revell ITR engine into the Fujimi.
The mugen parts will go over to the Revell.
Fujimi version is for my Initial D ITR project with engine details
and the Revell is a challenge for myself.
I'm trying to be different, since everyone is modding their Revell ITR, I've decided to do a JDM conversion for it.

Thats looking good so far...

Im not entirely certain looking at the pic but i think the wing might be a little out of proportion??? - It looks too big!

To judge the size it helps me to study reference pics and take measurements of areas on the car and compare. Its not always easy with most pics as they're usually at an angle. This pic might help u see.

If u have any photo software u could scan the side of your model, then enlarge this pic to the same dimensions. This is something i've done in the past and worked well.

Thanks Chris, I have that diagram too. The wing does look alittle too big, um, maybe by 1mm or 2mm..going to cut it down alittle! Thanks

Rear spoiler cut and sanded. It still looks big in this picture, but it is the correct size. Also test fitting the Mugen seats.
