I just thought i'd complain that i had to buy another intercooler on the advice of my tuner...i had an 18x9x2, but i dont want to worry about it being too small so i upgraded to a 31x6x3 which will handle much more power! It should support 450hp, but i'm only looking for 300hp so i think i'm safe! Had to complain, but i'll be really happy when it gets here.....rant over:evillol:

front mount of course....18x9x2 w/ 2.5" inlet outlet

that sucker should be capable of enough air to support 300+hp. heck thats bigger than the factory I/C that the supras came with.

^^ you know what the funny part of that is?? I bought a new one on the advice of my tuner....but if that's what makes him comfortable w/ my car i will get a new one. The one i bought is 31x6x3 which is almost 2x bigger core size.....

I thought surface area was the important thing. Are you doing this on stock internals? 300 seems high for that. Maybe I just dont know the GSR very well.:icon16:

im running stock internals, but w/ the new IC it should be just fine. It is the same size approx as a JRC 6"....my new one....the old one was a little small for my goals, but would work just fine for something like a turbo D or something that size. It is a good IC and would work for someone who had a goal of 250whp or so....

Damn well GL with that. I wish I could be doing the same to my Civ. Gotta pay for school:uhoh:

Besides, I'm not ready to turbo my car but when I am, I'm going to pretty much have the same goals (300+ hp) as you so if your tuner suggests a bigger IC, then I'm going to have to go with that suggestion. Good luck with your project.
