Tricks to removing power steering pulley?jlcljayne 01-16-2006, 07:07 PM I will be installing a new power steering pump and wondered if there will be any difficulty with removing the pulley and installing on the new pump. Is a pulley-puller necessary? MT-2500 01-16-2006, 07:41 PM YES it sure is. They do not jump off when you look at them. Some parts places rent or loan pullers. The new or rebuilt pump comes with a pulley installer bolt. Good luck MT MT-2500 01-16-2006, 07:44 PM YES it sure is. They do not jump off when you look at them.
