The Pathfinder was switched into 4H and now I can't get it fully back into 2H. It seems to be stuck somewhere inbetween as it is surely not in 4H but drives way to rough to be in 2H. I've tried reverse and that didn't help out. I saw another thread that talked about this issue, and the Nissan TSB (which doesn't offer a fix), but I can't find a solution. Tires are less than 6 months old and all matching.
I'm hoping someone can help.

Thank you

You say it is definately not in 4H but is driving rough. How do you know that it is not in 4X4 and by rough do you mean vibrating?

If you went wheeling in snow or mud you might have picked up a vibration due to something (mud or snow) getting stuck inside your rims. This is common whe wheeling.

Try spinning your wheels, on a slippery or soft surface, to see if front and back wheels spin. If so your 4X4 is still engaged. If the front don't spin, your 4X4 is dissengaged.

The t-case can't be stuck inbetween or it would grind and make noise, or it wouldn't move at all.
