I spent several hours with a mechanic friend today, and he helped solve the mysteries of the water in the oil, and also the poor running/missing. :sunglasse
It wasn't the head gasket, and it wasn't the intake manifold gasket. After completely disassembling the intake, he discovered a hole in the bottom throttle-to-oil seperator vacuum line. Apparently it was located so that any water on the road or carwash would channel into it, and was somehow blowing thru the entire intake, and mixing with oil in the dipstick rebreather. The white snot didn't get past the manifold, and after replacing the whole length of vacuum line, intake gasket, cleaning all intake parts and lines from the filter on, and changing the oil again, it seems the problems are gone. The miss is gone, and it has all its power back.
I'm going to double check everything after some regular driving, but it will only be to ensure it 100%fixed.
If ya got to have problems, the cheap ones are best!
