I would like to change a broken highlight lamp on the instruments panel on my '97 Corolla. To do so, I will need remove the clear cover. I removed the two top screws, but still cannot remove it. Any sugestions on how can I do so?

Take the whole instrument cluster out of the car to change the bulb. It's in the back of the cluster. You should get a Haynes Manual. It will tell you step by step how to do it. Small investment, large return. Good luck!
