costs for lifting?bkvj 01-14-2006, 06:18 PM hello there, my mom owned a dodge durango back in holland, and we all loved it. me and my mom wanted to lift it, but my dad was against it(:loser:). we dont have the durango no more(because we moved to the caribean for 2 years, and now we live in the UK), which i really dont like. my mom drives a kia sorento at the moment(soon to be replaced by a mercedes vito business class, with 4 airplane seats:naughty:). now i can possibly live my dream of owning a '97-'02(i thought that were the years, confused somehow) durange, and live it, as im planning of moving to hawaii(maui) or socal, in 15 months. i still have few old truckins here in my magazine collection. there are a few ads in it from 'truckin suspension' and 'fabtech' etc. i know those are good quality products, so thats not what im on about. what i do want to know is the following: (part of the add) 'kits include front and rear' 4.5'' lift - $1195 6.5'' lift - $1295 9.5'' lift - $1395 *(add $100 for shocks). i am, planning for the 9.5'' kit. so thats gonna cost me $1500. these are not extruded block kits, offcourse, but im sure most of you know which add im talking about. im not completely retarted and i know i need to look out for tires and wheels(planning for the 44'' super swampers on 15x10 weld 51 stone crushers(polished finish), which will cost me around $4000:rolleyes:...anyone knows a slightly cheaper, but clean wheels setup? lol) i also know i need to pay for the installation, but i dont know how much that will cost(any estimates?) what more parts do i need to lift a truck? thanks in advance. bas vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
