I need to replace the exterior mirrors on my '96 S-10 Blazer and need the removal instructions for the front inner door panels w/all the electrics. Guide, pictures, etc.

The removal doesn't require a guide or pictures. The removal requires you remove a couple screws around the door handle area and popping out the window control panel and popping out the panel keepers around the lower and two sides of the door.

Take all of 5 minutes.

The panel keepers are the nylon pushin style that require the removal tool?

Yea, but no tool is required, anything wide will work.

I used a metal pie spatula (don't tell my gf) and they all popped off easy.

I would go to the dealer and buy 5 just to be on the safe side seeing some of them will strip a bit with the tool or not.

UPDATE : '96 Blazer inner front door panel w/ electric switches removal

The removal requires the following steps:

1,) Located down in the arm rest hand grip is a small plastic cover. Pry it up with a screw driver and remove two screws.
2.) The plastic cup where the door latch needs one phillips screw removed and the cup needs to be removed using a scerew driver to pry it out. Take the time so not to damage it.
3.) Next, using the screw driver again, pry upward at the top of the electric window/lock control panel and it will easily pop out allowing the connectors to be disconnected and the control panel to be set aside. Again, take the time so not to cause damage as the connectors are removed.
4.) Final step is to locate and pop out the 8 panel keepers around the sides and bottom of the door. The inside of the door panel where the panel keepers are located are plastic molded bosses that the panel keepers attach to. Taking a removal tool (large blade screw driver or metal pie spatula) start at the top of the door panel where it covers the mirror mounting access area for the 1st keeper, down from that at mid door for the 2nd keeper, next just 6 inches down the 3rd, the 4th is down below the front of the speaker location, 5th one is in the middle on the bottom, proceed from there to the bottom outside corner for the 6th, 8 inches above that is the 7th and the 8th is up from that in the corner towards the window opening.

Regarding the removal tool. I used a screw driver to pry the access panels and panel keepers. I could not use the spatula because it was being used at the time by my wife. But it is strictly up to you to decide your tool of preference.
