vibration noise and lack of gripNulifekc 01-14-2006, 12:29 AM Have another new problem with a 94 Caprice. When I set off wheels slip at first and when it changes from 1-2, sometimes 2-3, as if you're on ice. Sometimes accompanied by a vibration noice. Runs smooth at speed, but at low speeds it will do these faults. Very hard to get up hills. Vibration gets worse as does the noise and lack of grip with the wheels. I have new wheels on and that didn't help. Does it sound like worn drive shaft or something like that? It's clearly worse when strain is put on the car such as a hill. Any help would be very much appreciated. CD Smalley 01-14-2006, 07:24 AM Take a look at the bushings on all of your rear control arms. My guess is they are well worn. I've read of rear lower control arms failing themselves. It can be a dangerous situation. Get it checked out quick. Nulifekc 01-18-2006, 03:30 PM Hi everyone Trans shop says Trans has gone bad.
