I have a 93 accord and it the battery light comes on intermittently. It happens a lot when I first start it and the engine is cold but soemtimes happens while i'm driving fro awhile. When this happens the radio dies and the dash and headlights get brighter. The performance of the car never seems to suffer though.

The ignitor had to be replaced a while ago and the alternator was replaced in Jan04.

I have no idea whats wrong, any help\suggestions would be appreciated.

have your alternator checked out. if you're able to remove the alternator yourself...you can then take it to a local parts store like autozone....and they should be able to bench test it for you.

The same thing is happening to me on my 95. At this time did you changed the alternetor or did something else ?
