I think its aiming at spam email and pop up etc. Not neccessarily us calling each other names or annoying each other. By disclosing their identity complaints, law suits, etc. can be filed against them so that the spam annoyance can stop. The news and media in general is making it seem like if one person pisses you off you can have them arrested because they committed a federal offense.

I think we already disscussed everyones feelings about bush in prior threads. I cant say I agree with everything that bush does or that I like him very much but I would go not go and call him stupid by any means because he isnt and he is still the president.

Also I am not saying I support this law or bush but at the same time im not saying that I dont. I dont want to start any arguments here. All of that was done in that past thread. I just wanted to clarify the purpose of the law.

If it work the way you think it will in your first paragraph, its not a bad thing but if its going to be one of those things that you can't tell someone that they are an idiot because they can sue you. That is bull shit.
