Use a candle to heat up a left over piece of plastic that the bits were attached to.
When it becomes soft, slowly pull on either end so it becomes very then like a antenna. Allow to cool and then cut the thin piece to the size you need

The 'runner' is also known as the sprue or parts tree: It's the frame of plastic that all the parts are attached to.

When you heat it over a candle and pull, it stretches out into a thin thread of plastic suitable for making an antenna. You can do the same thing with styrene rod, but since sprue is usually discarded, why not make use of it?

Wow, you really do learn something new everyday. I would never have thought about doing that, I have always just got an old piece of electric cord or wire and took out one of the thinner wires to make mine.
