I suspect it's the solenoid. I drove through a flooded road and figure the solenoid got water in it.
Is the solenoid seperate from the starter?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

as for your problem id check to make sure, 1 battery has a good charge, 2. the voltage regulator is suppling the right amount of current, 3.the ignition switch is still working, 4. the ignition coil is working, 5. the solinoid is working. after you have checked these, check your idel speed, and make sure your fuel injectors do not have a leak.

on the older truck the solinoid was mounted under the hood, most of todays model trucks(1990-present) sometimes have them mounted on the starter.

hope this helps
