First official track raceL8R_H8R 01-07-2006, 02:34 AM I went to the local tracks for the first time with my 96 non vtech prelude. This guy with a lightly modded 2003 Sentra SE-R Spec V (CF hood, Springs, i/e wheels n tires as far as know) First run i beat him but not by much. Second run i beat him by quite a bit. Raced him two more times with the same results. I donno if he was just a bad driver or what, he was supposedly the best driver from amongst his friends. Should I have lost? From what i know the SE-R Spec Vis a lil more powerful and with his mods i still won? GScivic7 01-07-2006, 05:06 AM what were the times? L8R_H8R 01-08-2006, 12:57 AM well its 1/8th of a mile. We both ran low 10's. Havn't taken it on 1/4 yet, only one here is bout 2 hrs away :uhoh: GScivic7 01-08-2006, 02:18 AM my rough calculation of your 1/4 mile time from a 10 second 1/8th time is about 15.6. Which is a little slow for a Spec V. I've seen many of them run low 15s stock. Not to take any credit away from you though. Congrats on the kill. I know what you mean about the tracks being few and far between. Before I moved to Seattle the closest tracks were both 2 hours away from me in either direction. It was either go up to Canada to go to mission raceway which i believe is only an 1/8th mile track or go down to kent which is a 1/4 mile track. L8R_H8R 01-08-2006, 02:28 AM donno. maybe he wasn' that great of a driver. His freinds must have thought he was, cuz they would run. Then get him to run using their cars. It was fun. and i got my first rival GScivic7 01-08-2006, 03:39 AM yah, usually that time is consistent with the non spec V SERs. Still, congrats to you, good kill and keeping it off the streets. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
