to you all with fuel gauge issuesjoewildlife2001 01-06-2006, 11:45 PM Get it fixed! Just got mine fixed on the '01 and gas mileage went up. Really. And with a new fuel pump, acceleration is more steady. Wrong readings from any sensor must really screw up the whole computer. rodeo02 01-07-2006, 01:11 PM How do you know your gas mileage went up if you just got it fixed? The only way to get an accurate MPG calc is over a few tanks of gasoline. Joel joewildlife2001 01-07-2006, 08:38 PM How do you know your gas mileage went up if you just got it fixed? Joel Joel, not trying to sound like a smart a** but after living 6 months with NO tank better than 15 mpg under any circumstances....get something fixed and first tank, that I topped off as high as I ever have, and got 17...and that pulling a small boat trailer. Well that tells me something. I'll keep you posted. gonna clean the EGR and suck some SeaFoam through a vacuum line into the engine tomorrow, and an oil change. Joe rodeo02 01-08-2006, 03:57 AM Good deal. Consistant 15mpg is tough to take for a small truck/engine like these. Joel vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
