Analyze this possible purchase. (Carfax needed)

I earlier made a thread about a Eclipse vs a Dodge SRT-4. I actually found a Eclipse, 97 GST, with 67k miles on it for 8 grand, roughly 1/2 the cost of a used Dodge SRT-4. I consider that pretty good unless something is obviously wrong with it.

just relax, it looks like a safe price and ca looks like it's in pretty good conditon and good mileage for a 8 year old car. if you still think there's something wrong with it just set up an appointment to meet the owner.

Most dealers will run a carfax for you (or already have).

Go down and test drive it if you like it.

Pricewise, nada marks it below "low retail" so the price seems to be fair even non-negotiated.
