Anyone have the tranny removal procedure? Used haynes--removed everything they said but cannot get the tranny to drop out. Removed all motor mounts, shoved the engine all the way against the passenger fender well but still do not have room to to get the end cover (driver side) past the frame. I don't think I have to drop the whole &^% front frame (not according to haynes) nor do I think I should have to remove the end cover. I would hate to remove and replace the tranny with the end cover off. Is there a secret I'm not aware of or do I just keep wiggling and hope the tranny shrinks--

any help or knowledge would be gratefully accepted!!

You might want to post it at www.batauto.com, are a couple thousand tech's on that site.

The transaxle needs to be cocked at just the right angle to come out. A friend that is willing to get dirty is a lot of help in this. You can loosen the 2 bolts that hold subframe on drivers side and give you more clearance.
