RHoschett 01-04-2006, 12:00 AM The surround bezel around the cluster then remove the cluster. How does this come out? cadgear 01-04-2006, 01:44 AM The knee bolster/kick panel under the column comes off with two screws and two other retaining clip screws. Drop the kick panel, then tilt the column all the way down. If you have column shift, key on and put in 1st, then gently remove the dark bezel around the AC controls, dash, radio, and headlight switch (all one piece) Unbolt the cluster, pull it out enough to unclip the connector, then replace bulbs. Column shift, be wary of the PRNDL indicator that you need to disconnect to remove the cluster. Installation is reverse of removal.™ RHoschett 01-04-2006, 09:45 AM The knee bolster/kick panel under the column comes off with two screws and two other retaining clip screws. Hi RHoschett - Where did you get teh replacement LED's and how much of a job was it to put them in the radio head unit? Our 98 LTZ has the same issue - a couple of cluster lights burned out and the radio buttons are burned out as well. thanks and best regards- mqqn paulfischer 02-05-2006, 10:10 AM I'm interested in the led lights also, trying to sell my 99 LTZ, and the radio lights are out. Do you have the #'s for the bulbs? Did the dealer stock the bulb?? Thanks! Paul RHoschett 02-06-2006, 09:11 AM I got the radio LED's from here > http://www.corvetteradios.com/Page7.html Search if you want but this was the ONLY place I was able to find that would sell me bulbs.. $2.00 each, you need 10, $2.00 shipping..replace them ALL you dont want to do this again! Its easy enough to remove the radio and front bezel..you need to be a decent solder tech to replace the bulbs, yes they are soldered in! IT fixed me up great! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
