problem w/auto startmamalee 01-03-2006, 07:48 PM I currently installed a remote starter according to all the wiring diagram for an acura intergra 1992 ingition all wires are properly secured with splice tite connectors. Every ignition wire including brake and tach wires are connected too. Car will not start with remote. It seems like it wants to, but the starter won't turn over. I've checked connections over and over but everything is correct. Someone please help, I can't figure it out, seems there's not enough power to turn the starter. Good thing is that I can still start with the key, no problem there.I found a wiring diagram at auto zone. there is a white/red wire says that it's an accessory connection but a direct international diagram says it's a white w/black. which diagram is coorect? Thanks for reading anyone out there who knows please respond. Been working on this for two days, going out of my mind. Report Post | IP: Logged raven262 01-07-2006, 01:22 AM Did the autostart come with a hood pin switch? Most auto starts wont allow the car to start if the hood pin switch isn't open. Also, do you have the parking brake enabled when you attempt to start it? InstallTech 01-07-2006, 03:45 AM Here are some wiring colors for you. These need to be powered by the remote start system for the car to start and stay running..... 12 Volts: White or White/black Starter: Black/White Ignition: Black/Yellow 2nd Ignition: Blue/white (if this wire isn't hooked up, it could be the reason why the car isn't remote starting. Easy to miss) Accessory: Yellow Also make sure you have the correct Tach wire. Should be a blue wire at the distributor. JuMBoBeaTS 01-23-2006, 12:03 AM also check if u have to put the remote starter module into tach mode. i just recently installed mine and its default setting is the tachless. after u set it into tach mode. u prally have to program it to learn the tach signal. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
