i have the automatic door locks and they make a loud noise when i unlock both the drivers and passenger door. only when i usse the remote. drivers side doesnt lock unless i lock it with the remote and then press the lock down

welcome to dodge quality wiring -- I have 2001 SLT with haywire doorlocks (even after the BCM was replaced) and My Dad has a 94 ram that the powerlocks quit working in 2 years ago.

i have a 01 slt and i have a noise also when i use the keyless entry. and also after in up to 15 mph the doors lock auto. i think my lock moter gears are striped or something? anyidea on how to fix it?:banghead:

More than likely the door latch needs to be replaced. Noise is like an "eeeeeekkkkkkk" sound. Durangos are known for them. Part is about 60 or 70 bucks i think. Can't remember exactly. Easy to replace though.
