VW Golf GTI with Zender z6 bodykitticeracer1 01-03-2006, 02:06 PM Here's my new project. I will start this one when I finished the Dodge Superbee. It's the Volkswagen Golf GTI 16v from Revell (1:24) with an upgrade set from the Zender Z6 bodykitt. I bought this model for 7 euro :D. Here some pics of the box: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20011.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20012.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20013.jpg The decals are very ugly because they're old and what had to be white is now yellow :P. I don't make a stock version but a German style of tuning. Cleaned all the way :D. Doorhandles, numberplateholes and all kind of that things have to be shaved with some putty. For this kitt I bought some Fujimi spokewheels from a Lambourghini Countach: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20014.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20015.jpg here you can see the diffrences of the wheels. The rear wheels are wider. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20016.jpg the original wheels: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20017.jpg This kitt comes with an engine (not very detailled) which is very cool :D I searched in some VW GOLF tuning magazines for a model I wanted to replicate. This is the one I found: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20002%7E3.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20003%7E2.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20004%7E2.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20006%7E1.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20007%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20008%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20009.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20010.jpg This is what I want to do: - shave the doorhandles - shave numberplateholes - modify the hood with airintakes (like the picture) - modify the hinge of the hood (so it open like the picture) - make some sleeves in the right sidefender - paint the heart of the wheels in red - paint the body in Mica Red or Metallic Red - make an custom exhaust - use a racing steering wheel - make an rollcage - use racing seats - remove the back seat (maybe) - and more little details Enough to do as you can see :D My model is not going to be like this one because mine have a bodykitt and other headlights bla bla bla..... I use these pics for all the details. But when it's finished it will be a little ''look a like'' :D Hope you like this one and suggestions and tips are always welcome! Kris. CMTA 01-03-2006, 02:11 PM Lucky! That is one sweet kit! Good luck with the build. I wish I could find those Zender(???) wheels. tonioseven 01-03-2006, 02:16 PM This should be nice!!:sunglasse arknok784 01-03-2006, 04:57 PM What a interesting way to open the good. Let us now how you pull it off, should be a sweet build. MkIIboi 01-03-2006, 04:59 PM yah that car is sick, not so suire about the hood tho, but hey do whatever you want. Im sure it will look great :bigthumb: RMK15 01-03-2006, 06:14 PM wow , super projects , super model ;) SteveK2003 01-03-2006, 06:44 PM That's cool. The same basic kit is still available under the 'tuner' like from Revell Monogram. digitalbanzai 01-03-2006, 08:41 PM Wow cool kit, looks ancient. Bet those wheels will go good! blubaja 01-03-2006, 09:07 PM Freakin awsome Vdub! deedlit 01-04-2006, 01:36 PM Sounds good :) Impatient to see you start. MidMazar 01-04-2006, 01:49 PM nice i almost got one of these on ebay, i got outbid though, keep us posted. Also watch out for fitment problems on the bodykit. Should look sick once completed. voyageur 01-04-2006, 04:52 PM A Zender Golf...now that brings back memories! Back then when I was 11 years old I built exactly that kit (and screwed it up big time :bricks1: ). Well I bought the Revell re-release tuner Golf this summer and it's almost finished...Old-School-German-Tuning-back-from-the-80's-style with the once so popular 175/50-13's :screwy: As soon as i have a digicam I'll post some pics. Let's see some progress... swollen 01-04-2006, 10:36 PM Tell me what I need to do to get the original kit wheels from you.:) iceracer1 01-05-2006, 06:12 AM Do you really want these original wheels  they're so small and ugly :P I don't know where you live... but maybe I can send you the wheels or we can trade for some other wheels (suggestion) Kris. iceracer1 01-05-2006, 10:39 AM I couldn't gett my hands off this model so I made a little begin. First I looked how the wheels fitt the Golf and I think it looks great with some lowering. Than I made the sleeves (3) on the fender. Tomorrow I'll cut these sleeves out. I also made the intakes in the hood. I printed out the figures. And they will also cutted out tomorrow. Maybe I clean the original airintake on the hood what do you think???? http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/intake%20001.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/intake%20002.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/intake%20003.jpg Kris. Samurai75007 01-05-2006, 04:18 PM Wow looking friggin nice... Keep up the good work. mike united 01-06-2006, 09:48 AM Intersesting project, good start............ iceracer1 01-08-2006, 04:18 PM So I used some putty for this kitt :P I cleaned the dent in the left fender (Revells fault) Than I filled the numberplatehole and the grate on the hood All sanded and now I have a smooth result :P I also made a photo of the hole in the right fender. I have to think how I will make the 3 sleeves on it :uhoh: Some will help me? http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20001.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20002%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20003%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20004%7E0.jpg Kris. RMK15 01-09-2006, 06:00 AM looks good iceracer1 01-15-2006, 08:23 AM Yes the fender is ready with the three sleeves :D I shaved the doorhandles yesterday and cut the windowstyle from the sidewindows. I made a photo of how the hood have to be openend en closed. And I have to cut the airintakes out of the hood. The fender looks a little bit crappy now but believe me that it's smooth:D http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/foto%20001.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/foto%20002.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/foto%20003.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/foto%20004.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/foto%20005.jpg Kris. arknok784 01-15-2006, 09:36 AM Sick project. Those wheels are beautiful. Best of luck with all the mods. RMK15 01-15-2006, 11:05 AM awesome , very good projects and very good job. ! ;) alakai 01-15-2006, 11:08 AM Looking good so far, keep it up! deedlit 01-15-2006, 12:37 PM Looks clean, can't wait to see it with a coat of primer  iceracer1 01-19-2006, 06:55 AM Looks clean, can't wait to see it with a coat of primer  You have to wait :D I'll take the time for this project I don't like speedbuilding. OKee..... I added the sideskirts on the MKII and dryfitted the rearbumper. This one consists of 2 parts. My idea is to make it so clean that it looks like 1 part :D The frontbumper fitts terrible  It's to wide for the Golf. So I have to cut the bumper into 2 pieces and with some puttywork I hope it will fitt right. PICS: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bodykit%20001.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bodykit%20002.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bodykit%20003.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bodykit%20004.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bodykit%20005.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bodykit%20006.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bodykit%20007.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bodykit%20008.jpg Kris. deedlit 01-19-2006, 01:55 PM I wish you good luck with this kit. Parts don't fit very well but if you take your time, you'll have a very nice model. Spike123 01-19-2006, 03:25 PM Interesting project, looking good so far. Samurai75007 01-20-2006, 12:53 AM Woot, Looking good dude... keep it up. hyobum 01-20-2006, 12:55 AM Pretty extensive mod list. Good luck! Looking forward to the final product. chyknees 01-20-2006, 02:07 AM personally..i think it would've looked better with the bbs mesh instead of the lambo mesh. But it looks like its gonna be a sweet ass build. you gotta dump it on those rims....vdub status. haha. iceracer1 01-24-2006, 04:29 PM YEEEH another update! Been working on the rearbumper. Now it looks like it is 1 part instead of the 2 separated parts. I placed it on the car and saw there was a big gap between de bumper and the thrunk. So I filled it with putty and only have to sand it. The spoiler also didn't fitt very well so I heat it and than placed it on the thrunk. Also filled the gap with putty and sanded it. The front bumper also consists of 2 parts. Because the bumper was too wide I cutted it in 2 halves and make them smaller. Glued it together and filled it with putty. Now I have to make it like it's 1 piece. So there will be more putty jobs :frown: It's hard for me to say this in normal english but I hope you will understand.... If not??? Than I have some pics for you! http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20005%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20006%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20007%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20008%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20009%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20010.jpg So as you can see I have to do a lot of sanding but I hope I will complete this in a week. And than I wanted to prime it :D Stay tuned guys! KRIS. blubaja 01-24-2006, 11:59 PM Coming along great still! iceracer1 01-26-2006, 11:20 AM Today I was free from school so I can do some progress on the VW. I sanded the rearbumper/thrunk sleeve and it's very smooth now :D I also used some putte for the mirrorholes because I don't use the stock mirrors (i think). The frontbumper is now installed and also puttyed. The whole bodykitt has to be smooth on the body so more putty was necessary :D The hood is finally done. First I sketched the figures wich has to be cutted out of the hood. Than I drilled some holes and finally I file it. Now it's looks like a F&F Supra hood :P But the referention pics of the Golf also has this hood. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20011.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20012.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20013.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20014.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20015.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20016.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/plamuur%20017.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/doos%20004%7E2.jpg now it's time to sand the body  hope u like it! Hiroboy 01-26-2006, 12:57 PM Your making a good job of this, it should be nice when the primer goes on. What putty is that ? deedlit 01-26-2006, 12:58 PM Still a lot of sanding and preparation to do, but it's coming along nicely  iceracer1 01-26-2006, 04:03 PM Your making a good job of this, it should be nice when the primer goes on. What putty is that ? For little things like this I use Revell Plasto it looks like cement or something. And it sands very well. For big surfaces I use Milliputt Yellow-Grey. And sometime I use Tamiya Putty but this stuff doesn't work good I think. MidMazar 01-26-2006, 10:01 PM Looking good, i need to get my hands on this kit. iceracer1 01-30-2006, 10:17 AM Today I worked the whole day on the Golf. Body is done now and I only have to make a hinge for the hood. Than I can primer it. Here are some pics of the body now. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body%20001%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body%20002%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body%20003%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body%20004%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body%20005%7E0.jpg Because I had cut the frontbumper in halves I had to fill the gap between them with putty. Seems to be easy :P but the place (strip) under the bumper is so thin that I can't sand it. When I carefully sand it... than it broke. So I came with a good idea:sunglasse http://www.svspower.com/images/upload/article_1_12.JPG I thought this would be nicer :D So I begun to make one for the Golf. I made one of plastic card. And used Scaleautostyle CF decalsheet. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/howto%20008.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/howto%20011.jpg I will make the rods (aluminium things on the splitter) (don't know the name) by using a mirror from a motorcycle. The splitter will be places when the body is painted. So you guys have to wait :D I hope you like the idea Kris. LA-CUSTOMS 01-30-2006, 12:46 PM thats ace !! i really like the bonnet, good luck with this project "! iceracer1 02-07-2006, 10:02 AM Sorry guys but the idea to open up the hood sideways is too difficult. There is a brim on te verge of the side panel (hope u understand...:P) So when I open up the hood it goes a little bit open and thats it. So I wanted the hood original again.... but how???? :uhoh: So I try to make new and original hinges but no succes... It was to crappy. And after al the sanding on the hood it will fitt not corectly on the rest of the body:frown: I had a problem now  But a year ago I made a Revell Golf Gti too and that one was not so beautifull so i decided to borrow that hood :P I cutted the figures out and put it in the furnace cleaner. After 3 hours the paint was gone from the hood:tongue: I washed the body and the new hood and let it dry and today I finally used the first paint for this modell:P Now it got 2 lays of Tamiya Surface Primer. Look for yourself!: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/primer%20001.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/primer%20002%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/primer%20003%7E0.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/primer%20004%7E0.jpg don't worry about the gap here... I highered the bumper so the grill will fit good. The grill will cover this gap:) http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/primer%20005.jpg the hood will open up like this now: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/primer%20006.jpg Now I'll go spray some metallic red on it :P Hope u like it! Kris. iceracer1 02-09-2006, 10:19 AM After 4 lays of metallic red it was time to make some pics of it: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/rood%20001.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/rood%20002.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/rood%20003.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/rood%20004.jpg Now I'll go spray 3 lays of TS-13 clear over it and let it dry for a week. Than I polish it with tamiya polishing compound Kris. z_dutchie 02-09-2006, 11:18 AM really nice golf...!:) sync- 02-09-2006, 02:52 PM hey man thats sweet! Nice car! D_LaMz 02-09-2006, 10:13 PM girly hands? ddtham 02-10-2006, 03:55 AM Great progress!! iceracer1 02-10-2006, 08:31 AM girly hands? Yes  they're from my sister :P smilly_butcher 02-10-2006, 04:07 PM awsome work but you've done a mistake with the hood the holes arn't equal and aren't layed out properly Klitmen 02-10-2006, 04:56 PM LOVE IT SO MUCH! :eek2: iceracer1 02-12-2006, 02:35 PM Oke the wheels are finished now! I painted the heart of the wheel in bodycolour and the center of it in Ferarri red. The body has 3 lays of TS-13 but isn't polished yet. I'll do that this week. I'm very proud of the body. After 4 weeks of sanding and putty I'm glad it's over and with a good result i think. The chassis already painted and needs some detail painting so I hope to finish that this week. I also made a begin in the interior. I'll use 2 racing-seats and a sports steering wheel and a rollcage. The colours will be Black-white for the seats. Alright here are the pics: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/red%20001.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/red%20002.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/red%20003.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/red%20004.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/red%20005.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/red%20006.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/red%20007.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/red%20008.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/red%20009.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/red%20010.jpg Hope u like the colour :P I do!!!:smooch: D[X]P 02-13-2006, 06:53 PM cant wait to see this finished gtidude 02-14-2006, 02:05 AM i like it! iceracer1 02-16-2006, 11:36 AM UPDATE: The body is polished now! and I did the windowtrims. I really hate to do that :frown: but it's very good and I like it! I also made some BMF under the hood so it looks like a mirror and add some racing wire on the holes (black) The chassis is painted matt black and I painted some details other colours because a whole chassis in black is boring I thought. I tryed to dryfitt the chassis on the body but this was teribble  Big fitting problems :P So I cutted al the shit from the chassis till it fitts right. I only have to smooth the places I cutted away some plastic. The exhaust is sprayed silver and I painted with some Smoke and clear blue the heated places etc. I also made a scratchbuild exhaust end and I think this looks good! some pics: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/onderkant%20en%20poetsen%20001.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/onderkant%20en%20poetsen%20002.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/onderkant%20en%20poetsen%20003.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/onderkant%20en%20poetsen%20004.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/onderkant%20en%20poetsen%20005.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/onderkant%20en%20poetsen%20006.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/onderkant%20en%20poetsen%20007.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/onderkant%20en%20poetsen%20008.jpg on some pics you can't see the shine on the body very well because I grapped it a few times with some dirty hands :P ENJOY!:smokin: Kris. Mr. Me. 02-16-2006, 11:45 AM nice car! i like this!:grinyes: iceracer1 02-21-2006, 05:30 AM Today I completed the dashboard. Only have to add a MOMO steeringwheel. The interior isn't finished but I hope to complete the interior this week. The main colours are black/white http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/dash%20002.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/dash%20003.jpg Kris. fliper_nx 02-21-2006, 08:26 PM welcome my name is mariusz, i from poland :p good job, a like it red, nice distributive plank ps my english ther is for lousy :frown::uhoh: im sory iceracer1 02-23-2006, 03:47 PM Hi, I almost completed the interior but it's still not finished (maybe tomorrow) I used black and white as main colours just like the photo's of the original golf (see page 1) I used some racingseats from a Toyota MR2 die-cast model and modified a roll-cage from an other car. Hope you like it! enjoy: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur%20001%7E3.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur%20002%7E3.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur%20003%7E3.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur%20004%7E3.jpg Kris. D[X]P 02-23-2006, 07:54 PM sick iceracer1 02-24-2006, 06:00 AM Yep the interior is finished I used a Fujimi steering wheel and made him exactly like the Golf from the magazine. Added a MOMO decal in the center. I hope you like it! http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur%20005%7E3.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur%20006%7E2.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur%20007%7E1.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur%20008%7E1.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur%20009%7E0.jpg Now I'll start on the engine RyanGiorgio 02-24-2006, 10:41 AM Oh man I'm loving this thread. Nice work so far. Any plans for the ride height? I think it would be awesome if it was slammed. iceracer1 02-24-2006, 11:26 AM First I'll look at the rideheight when the wheels are fitted. If it's to high I will try to lower it. To the ground of course :P But the frontbumper is lower as the rest of the body so I hope it will not give problems. Kris. iceracer1 03-01-2006, 11:27 AM New update: The chassis is finished accept for the frontsuspension. I also detailde the enginebay. The fluid reservoirs are painted and the bobine, the radiator etc. The engine is not finished yet.. Only have to add the intakemanifold and airfilter. The engine is painted silver with a wash from tamiya smoke. The wheels have to be custumized because they don't fitt good. I also have added the foglights in the frontbumper and added the windsplitter. I'm almost finished with this one :P here the pics: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20001.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20002.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20003.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20004.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20005.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20006.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20007.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20008.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20009.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20010.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20012.jpg I also damaged the side fender  when I tryed to fitt the radiator between the sidefenders. I tryed to hide the damage much as possible but it's still not covered. This happened when u use the crappy Revell (german) kitts. Everything on this model doesn't fitt correctly. here's a close up of the damage: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bij%20elkaar%20011.jpg I hope u stil like the golf even it has some damage :P Kris. toyota00 03-01-2006, 04:08 PM Looking good, and I can't wait to see the final product.
