hello everyone,
i have a 2000 xe that has a rubbing noise in the front driver side when starting off from a cold start, and within 1km it goes away. I brought it to the garage and they replaced the clips on the front brake pads, and this helped for a day or two, but the noise is back. We never had this problem until we done some highway driving in the snow over the holidays, so should i get some brake cleaner and clean up the pads again? or is it something else?

hmm check if your front brake rotors are warped. or have a mechanic check your brake calipers. (brake piston, spring, etc etc.)
good luck
