roll cagesbc4g 06-09-2002, 11:59 PM Has anyone thought of geting a rollcage for their car? Nothing real complex with that bar running at a 45 deg. angle between the seat and door and definetly not those Monkey Bars. Has anyone ever checked out ww.ioportracing.com they looked like they might be cool. Thanks Chad slammedcivicsi 06-10-2002, 12:29 AM im getting one....but Im makin it myself....then getting it powder coated....but they are sweet....especially if you have no rear seats like me. darolh 06-10-2002, 10:09 AM I've thought about it. I may yet do it. Not a bad feature. Autopower seems to be the ticket. I believe you can get them with removable diagonals so you can be legal on the track and still use the back seats. You can get yourself some decent seat belts too. I'm not a big fan of the stock ones (attached to doors). I put in Schroth Autocontrols on my side. Very nice. Holds my ass in the seat where it should be. bc4g 06-10-2002, 11:31 AM darloh where in Wa do you live? Chad darolh 06-10-2002, 01:23 PM Carnation bc4g 06-11-2002, 12:04 AM Where is Carnation? Thanks Chad i wouldnt pu ton in unless your running some nice power from the car or you plan on it Pio jeef 06-11-2002, 10:48 AM i dunno i think i might disagree with that that... a cage will really stiffen the chasis up reduce a lot of roll and body flex not to menton if you do roll you don't get your head crushed from the roof and what not... one of these days i'm gonna do a custom job on my car make it look real nice mmmm civic1991 06-11-2002, 01:16 PM I'm still trying to hunt down the right one fore me. Maybe 6 points for me. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
