Dash light shows door is open at times when it really is not. When the car turns right on curved exit ramp for example the dash light shows LF door is open and interior lights come on. Straighten car force out after exiting curve and light goes off. If I push my elbow outward against interior door panel it also comes on and goes off if I release outward pressure. Everything appears to be working accurately or consistently with its effects as when the dash light comes on the interior lights come on.
I'm worndering before I waste money and time.....would anyone know confidently if it is the switch/sensor/pin on the door jamb (in rubber boot) that the door hits and pushes in when you close door against it?
By the way...the door appears to be opening and closing perfectly, functioning as solidly as it always did.

Remove the switch and see if the problem goes away.

Check the door latch on the frame of the car. It is to far out and needs 2 be in more
