Holy cow! I didn't even realise you were building this. Magnificent! A stunning looking machine and you've captured its agressive lines beautifully. A shame the real car has been withdrawn from the top line WRC just when it was showing some promise. :(

Are those clear resin tail and headlights? They look much better that I expected them to.

phil, the resin is perfect, for the headlights, they have a little out of shape, but are easy to correct, it was first time that i found spray clear coat on the clear parts will make them more clear which recommend by the instruction . the making progress is all about fun, i have ordered this Transkit again, and wish to make Rovanpera version of rally Australia. thanks all your comments.

hello Aeroace,
congratulations, you did an excellent job on this TK !!
but I make one reserve on Studio 27 TK... they forgot that rear part of the car and especially lights aren't the same that on the Evo 7 !
Wheel arches are larger (1800 mm in 2005 !) and lights blocks don't come in line with the body...
that's the reason I didn't bought this TK, perfect except that point.
but you did such a impressive job (and pics as good as job!) that I begin regretting...

sorry about my poor english, the transkit come with rear and front light made by clear resin, its different with the evo7 ofcourse. the rims seems good but if you want to use the rub wheels in EVO7 you will feel that the rub tires are too thin. i changed them with two sets of tamiya's Nissan 350Z front tires. so they look wonderful. but costly.....Wheel arches should enlarge by yourself, transkit supply a paper printed the shape. the progress about enlarge the arches will also cut of the edge of the rear doors. so take care. it will need some putty.

Well, humm... Sorry if I put some trouble in your mind with my words, I hope not, there were not an attack on your work which is perfect !
I know the problem (or not) with this TK and just wanted to let everyone know it before launching themselves in this build, as you give advises too... Nothing especially about your model !
I tried to post here a pic of the German event service park showing what I wanted to explain better than my english tried to...!
but it doesn't work at the moment, I don't know why but the system refuses to catch my pics !
I will try to send it to you by PM.
In fact problem isn't exactly the wheel arches but the wide of the body... (that may be clearer I hope saying it so) body is wider than lights edge on this 2005 WRC and S27 TK doesn't allow to make it accurate... without rebuilding the whole rear body !
that's all ! :D
