The bodykit: stirenge sheet and putty, The rear Wing: stirenge sheet, The muffler: i form in in a lathe, Nitrous Bottle: i form in a lathe, and painted brake discs: i form in a lathe, and cut off the original brake pads, and glued together http://users.atw.hu/sgmakett/mikx_sky/001.JPG http://users.atw.hu/sgmakett/mikx_sky/002.JPG http://users.atw.hu/sgmakett/mikx_sky/003.JPG http://www.sg.hu/galeria/10599522121130511208.JPG http://www.sg.hu/galeria/10599522121130511277.JPG http://www.sg.hu/galeria/10599522121131466342.JPG http://www.sg.hu/galeria/10599522121131466382.JPG Dylza 12-29-2005, 05:14 PM looks great so far, although the wing is a little too big for my taste. Can't wait to see the finishd product, those nitrous bottles and muffler look awesome. Did you mix the color yourself? gionc 12-29-2005, 05:52 PM your z-tune isn't elegant to me, to much havy: it's a viewpoint :) but your skill, latheman, are amazing: great lathed stuff a little photo tip: try to shoot a little far to the model, less particles may be visible great job Myx_85 12-29-2005, 06:31 PM your z-tune isn't elegant to me, to much havy: it's a viewpoint :) but your skill, latheman, are amazing: great lathed stuff a little photo tip: try to shoot a little far to the model, less particles may be visible great job  Thx a lot, man! My camera is a piece of trash i think... :grinyes: quadzero 12-29-2005, 06:55 PM looking really good so far. the chassis is great. bkvj 12-31-2005, 05:46 AM wow looks nice...wing is a bit to high i think aswell. the exhaust looks great though...only use the nitrous at the launch though lol! geronimo77 12-31-2005, 06:30 AM Hi! Looks nice. The body mods are great, also the metal parts. Keep on the good work. gionc 12-31-2005, 08:51 AM  Thx a lot, man! My camera is a piece of trash i think... :grinyes: camera seems ok: due to the fact you need roughly only 80by600 px, just try to put the camera on a stand or tripod, a little unclosed from the model, and try to use "autoshoot" funct. distance could help with particles on metal colors and more: try to clear the scene with some other lamps and place some white bristol to reflect light, than disable flash anyway great models and lathed parts Myx_85 12-31-2005, 12:54 PM camera seems ok: due to the fact you need roughly only 80by600 px, just try to put the camera on a stand or tripod, a little unclosed from the model, and try to use "autoshoot" funct. distance could help with particles on metal colors and more: try to clear the scene with some other lamps and place some white bristol to reflect light, than disable flash anyway great models and lathed parts Thanks fo a little cameraman turorial, i try this! primera man 12-31-2005, 04:08 PM Muffler and wing abit overkill for my liking. Update: I picked up a new body, and started again! beacouse the old body paint is too thick, i think, and looks badly! And little modify my plan! Created a new wing, calld "R33 Look" :D here is the pics: http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e263/MyX85/Skyline%202/04.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e263/MyX85/Skyline%202/05.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e263/MyX85/Skyline%202/06.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e263/MyX85/Skyline%202/07.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e263/MyX85/Skyline%202/08.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e263/MyX85/Skyline%202/09.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e263/MyX85/Skyline%202/10.jpg sileightsix 01-28-2006, 04:55 PM Oh, this is looking just great. I really like the "R 33 look" wing. A lot. On the fourth picture, I like how you have pushed the wheels out right to the edge of the fender; it looks menacing. Some things I'd like to suggest are deeping the panel lines with a scriber as you go ( I think this build deserves it), and just cleaning up some of the minute overhang and imperfections from the styrene work/sanding. I recommend a very small file and very light pressure. this way, you'll only be removing what is higher than the rest, and not creating "pits" in your work. I find that by using a circular "waxing" motion with the tiny file, flat uniform surfaces of edges can be achieved. Again, loving this, esp. the wing and the lower rear bodywork. Keep up the great work.:sunglasse XeVeNskyLiNE 01-29-2006, 12:20 AM Yea, that body looks alot better than the first one. Myx_85 01-29-2006, 06:52 AM thanks guys the tips, and the great words, i think i try this... Myx_85 02-01-2006, 09:36 AM Hi!
