87 civi si Bogs on accelreation, eventually will stallloujoan 12-29-2005, 10:35 AM Hi, I've replaced the map sensor, fuel filter, fuel pump, mfir, and oxygen sensor. The pgmfi light is on. It starts and idles rough,.When it warms a little, it bogs on acceleration, then eventually stalls. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Lou mrlindeman 12-29-2005, 06:39 PM I just got it fixed. I actually replaced the same things you did and couldnt figure it out. Turns out i had the timing retarded by a tooth. It made a huge difference. I got alot of help by posting here though too. Thanks guys. Ever since i put the new cam in it ran like poop. Took me 2 weeks of trouble shooting to fix it. As for the rough starting i couldnt fix that. Its just something i have to live with since i de-vacumed the car. It has no cold idle. If you have any questions let us know. I would def check the timing though. Good luck. Bud. :smokin: loujoan 12-29-2005, 07:38 PM I just got it fixed. I actually replaced the same things you did and couldnt figure it out. Turns out i had the timing retarded by a tooth. The number of LED flashes will tell you what the problem is. It ended up being the 20 amp fuse for the ecu didn't have a good contact. Runs fine again but the pgm-fi light still goes on under acceleration. I also have 1 and 2 light on. I replaced the map sensor a short time ago.? Runs good!!!? Thanks for the link. loujoan 12-30-2005, 02:14 PM Bud, Thanks for your input!
