Hi! I just purchased a Honda EX Accord 4 dr Sedan 3.0 V6 Leather with Nav System today.

I wanna think I got a great deal but how can i reassure myself? Can anyone say if they "fooled" me or did i get a good deal.

Here is what I paid: $ 27,580 OUT THE Door including Tax (7 %) & Tag

I traded in my old 93 Cadillac Deville 4 dr Sedan with 65000 miles that was in a fair condition.

I cant figure out myself with all these price tags wether i made a GREAT deal an OK deal or no deal at all.

Can anyone shed some light for me and make my day :-)

Thanks
Jamie

thats not a bad price for an accord, but you probably got screwed on your trade

It dont sound bad, but considering they are probably going to have to wholesale your caddy, I assuming you didnt get much for it.

I know I know but i didnt know this forum until last night and after the fact.

Here is what I got it says Car Sales Price 30,000
Trade in Allowance for my Caddy 93 4705.50
NET Difference 25294.50
Fl Law Waste Tire Fee 6.50
Dealer Admin Fee 499.00

PRICE of Vehicle 25.800
Tag & Title 182.00
Tax 1598.00
GRAND TOTAL 27580.00

Now my Caddy i looked up at kbb. it says by trade in Value 1,350 and i got 4705 but you know u always feel u still might have been screwed even so u think u got a good deal? Well, I thought I got a good deal but my husband thinks i didnt. Thats what I am trying to find out and ease my mind. So like I said maybe with these figures someone can shed some light for me
Thanks

WOW, that is alot for the caddy. And I thought the Accord w/Navi and leather would be around 27 or 28, not 30. You def. could have gotten lower but they gave you a hell of a deal on the trade in

that is a lot, i used to work with a guy who bought caddy's, if you were going to trade it, hed give you 500-1000 more to buy it right from you, he'd write a check right then.

assuming that you got an 06, and there are no other options, and ex-v6 with nav msrp's at 29850, plus destination, so for 30000, you were technically under msrp. you did get a good deal for a trade worth 1300 at 4700.

plus tell your husband you will save a lot of money over the years that you've probably spent on the caddy.

i found this online
$29,300 MSRP
$26,364 Invoice

afterall i think i made a good deal AND i just picked the car up tonight and you know what even if i overpaid maybe 500 $ which i doubt I LOVE IT the Nav system alone is great! You can actually talk to it and give commands like AC on set AC to 75 F and stuff like that and talk about NEVER getting lost again! WHEW
and it rides as smooth as a BMW or MB (which I had owned before in Germany)

AND guess what the unbelieveable happened tonight when i brought it home : HUBBY LIKES IT so at this point i don't even care anymore... I think afterall I didnt do bad because just the fact that my caddy wasn't in great shape and i think i got a LOT for the caddy. but thanks all for your input but feel free to leave more comments!
