Heres another project i started, its a tamiya r33 skyline. In the pics you can see i already fitted the sas kit. The front bumper was a pain to fit but with a little sanding and puttying i got it on. The wheel arches will go on next. The SAS kit is excellent quality, thanks chris. Just a little sanding is involved. The wheels came with a lot of bubbles, but that will be fixed with no problem. I have to say the decals look excellent and even have a diagram to see where they belong. I plan on painting this one red. Also the hood will not be put on, i want to save it for my r32. Progress on this one will be slow due to many other projects at hand. Comments and suggestions please.

Also if anyone has any reference pics please let me know or share them, thanks.

Not much progress, due to all my other projects im working on. The wheel arches have been added. A little puttying and sanding has been done. The wheels are on and the suspension has been lowered about 1 mm. I didn't want to slam it, i think the stance looks good enough for me. Please post some reference pics of this car if anyone has any. I would really appreciate it.

Turns out I still have 100+ pics, some better than others. What do you need reference for?

Thanks a lot!!! If it would be easier for you, please send them to djblizzerd311@aol.com
I would really appreciate it, i mainly need reference for the interior. I originally was planning on painting it red, but that blue looks killer. Do you know what color that is exactly? Thanks for your pics!

Jay!

No problemo.

This blue one is a peculiarity. The four stock colors for the 400R were white, black, silver and red. Somehow, this car, which also seems to be the only one that was imported into the UK ended up blue. I'm afraid I don't know much more of the story beyond that, but I have several more pics of this UK car.

Here's what I have for interiors:

I'm not sure what all is up with this one. This may actually be from the LM edition:

Fubaz, I believe that last one you posted IS from the LM R33. I have had the chance to see one out here in California and they have that LCD screen in the middle of the cluster. Pretty neat stuff.

Interesting that the LM Edition used 400R trim parts...

Indeed,

bkvj : What do you mean by polished lip? Its going to be the same as the car color, and yes itll be polished, heh.

The LM I saw definitly did not have those 400R body parts. It looked more along the lines of a regular GTR.

I don't know specifics... But I like your model. :)

The 400R is one of the best skylines in my mind. I like em in Red and Black though I dont know if they made the 400R in black the R33 in black is sick. Keep up the good work.

Not much progress, but something worth showing even though the pic is inside and very bad quality. Painted with TS italian red. The wheels are from chris (SAS) combined with pegasus sleeves. Complete for the most part, just need a wash. The main 400r decals are on, it will be cleared this week and better pics will be taken.

Heres what i've done, managed to polish the body. I was washing the mirrors and one of them got lost down the drain. No need to fear, good fellow af memeber tonioseven sent me a new pair. Thanks tonio!! I also put on the sas 400r decals, i have to say they are decent, but do have a short drying period and have to be worked quick. I found out the hard way by ripping two of them. Other than that the decals are pretty sweet, hopefully we will see more decals from chris! Wheels are also done, pegasus lips were used and polished. Interior is done. Now just some minor work to be done and it'll be complete. Also i don't know if you guys noticed, but i left off the hood because i was having fitment problems with it. Maybe it will be put on another r33. Let me know what you guys think.
