reverse hummingjdq 12-28-2005, 10:19 AM When I put car in reverse after starting I get a loud humming noise ,seems to go away after warming up,what could this be.Also is it difficult to change serpentine belt,any tips.thanks wafrederick 12-28-2005, 04:22 PM It sounds like the carrier bearings are bad in the rear end.Yes, it is a common problem and replace ALL the bearings and seals.You do not want to do it twice. HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH YOUR PUMP IN THE TRANMISSION. CHECK PREVIOUS THREADS IN REGARDS TO THIS.
