gen 2 supercharger on a gen 1 3800

im interested in geting more umpph out of my 3800, i thought of puting a chip in but that not quite enough for what want. so i found a few gen 2 superchargers kicking aound and i wos wonderind besides the belt setu up is it possible ??? one more question is the compersion ratio differ from a non to a supercharged 3800?? i would greatly apreciat a reply thx by the way its a 1988 first year for the 3800 sieris

not for sure if it will work or not. i do know that on the non supercharged gen 2's have a higher compression, and some other little things are different. you might email the guys at Thrasher Engineering.

You can do it but the cost is more than a whole swap.

If you want bigger hp get a centrifugal sc and strap it on. Add some juice and call it a day.
