It used to start after about 30 minutes, but now it won't start at all. It will crank, but not start. No check engine light is on. Please help me... I'd start with a fuel filter. Check the battery connections. Check the fluid levels. Upgrade the AAA. TracyH68 04-15-2006, 05:54 PM I was told it was the fuel filter by many people, it wasn't. It was the crank shaft sensor. After replacing it it worked for a month or so then started doing the same thing again. I replaced the IAC valve and it again worked great for about a month or so and started doing the same thing. I eventially traded it. Good luck to you. BigDudu 10-17-2007, 04:53 AM I eventially traded it. Good luck to you. I am thinking this is the only way to solve problems on this car. :disappoin nkmn 11-09-2007, 12:19 PM My 98 Durango will start after sitting for a few day, but after driving less than a mile it will stall without warning. Please help me... after reading many posts, we went to our mechanic and had him replace the pcm because our 98 started stalling too. PCM replaced...... have had no problems in several months. Dont go through all the other sensor replacemnts and such that they suggest it could be.... pcm should be your fix. If you have any questions let me know.... neilandkari@msn.com DoubleC 12-12-2007, 08:52 PM Its the Idle air control motor! just had work done at a shop vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
