1987 astro wont start

I want to try the simple stuff first.

2 questions

1 where is the fuel relay...............


how do you get the doghouse cover off........


please.I am new to this vehicle and am trying to fix this.it is my father in laws..........he is a Disabled Veteran

ok got the doghouse off and found spark but no fuel.i think



where is the fuel relay located...........drivers side pass side........

OK

I took the tank out and broke both bolts that hold the tank in.

I am consinering the junkyard for the vehicle.........

any ideas.................


how much is the 87 pump and all the goodies to fix this ??

rocketman, the pump for an '87 is pretty cheap due to the low pressure fuel system (12-14 psi).
check out autozone.com or rockauto.com
I haven't had to drop the tank on my '89 yet, so I'm not sure of the bolt arrangement - whether they are loose bolts or captured bolts. If they are loose bolts, meaning you have to get a wrench on the bolt head and the nut, those can be acquired at an autoparts or hardware store.
