1985 Camaro Z28CamaroSSBoy346 12-27-2005, 01:18 AM The Monogram (Motorworks) 1985 Camaro Z28.. Its two tone. Tamiya Laquer Yellow main color, and Dupli-Color Laquer Silver for the ground effects. I wanted it to look like a Johnny Lightning car I have.. So far its only got one coat of yellow, and hasnt been clear coated yet. http://www.rankmyride.com/data//4/1/1423//.large/dsc02869.jpg Hawk312 12-27-2005, 01:23 AM Another 3rd gen! It should be nice! Where did you snag this one? I would like to build one of those old Z-28`s. Will you have the orange stripe right above the ground effects? CamaroSSBoy346 12-27-2005, 01:40 AM Another 3rd gen! It should be nice! Where did you snag this one? I would like to build one of those old Z-28`s. Will you have the orange stripe right above the ground effects? Now that you mention it, I think it does come with the stripes above the gfx. I was lookin at some referance pics, thinking "This would look interesting on my model.." http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/812000-812999/812879_4_full.jpg I cant seem to find any referance pics of yellow Camaro's.. white97ex 12-27-2005, 09:05 AM hawk. these are available at wal mart under the motorworks name. How is this kit? CamaroSSBoy346 12-27-2005, 03:02 PM http://www.rankmyride.com/data//4/1/1423//.large/dsc02870.jpg got some more paint on. gotta clear coat it yet. The kit is simplified because its based off a snap-tite kit, yet its still one of the best 3rd Gen. Camaro's I've built. evo8owner 12-27-2005, 07:37 PM I Don't Have Any Pics, But I Once Owned A Yellow 86 IROC. It Had The Same Silver Ground Efects As Your Doing With Black & Silver Stripes, Like The Maroon Z in The Pic Above But Black/Grey/Silver. I'll See If I Can Find A Pic Hope This Helps,And Love That Third Gen Camaro!! Dean23 12-27-2005, 07:40 PM Looking good. Really like the car in that colour. Are the wheels and tires accurate? CamaroSSBoy346 12-28-2005, 11:38 PM Okay, not much work done. Painted the door handles and key lock holes, got the decals on, and clear coated it.. http://www.rankmyride.com/data//4/1/1423//.large/dsc02877.jpg As for the wheels and tires; they're about (in scale) 225/70/15's. They're the infmaous plastic-like "Goodyear Radial GT's" and the wheels are the standard 5-spoke Z28 wheels, in chrome. I might change them to silver, or gold..
