Can anyone please help me? I have some stock 2000 Z06 rims and they rub on the axle snuffer when i install them on my 97 Z28. The rear rims are 18x10.5 and i have always heard this is a easy swap over for these cars. I used a spacer and that didnt help i have the style of lug nuts that sink into the spacer for a better bite on the threads of the stud....Thanks a lot to anyone who can help.....

18'sx10.5 will not fit in the front no matter how hard u try. to tfit them on the back u need low profile tires, and pressure needs to be applied to the rear axle when putting them on for the rims to fit.

Sounds right...even the stock SS had 9.5's on all 4's. Getting 11's in the back?

yes, I meant the 18's in the rear, they touch the snubber when i put them on, the 17's in the front seem to work fine. There is no offset on these rims they are not replica's. I cut the snubber of my 95 camaro and dont want to mess up the suspension on this one.

18's are pretty big......

They don't fit because the car isn't made for them...

The camaro's/ Corvette wheels fit each other....so they actually do. Same offset

Thanks alot all, i got them on with no problems. The rubbing was only when i had the rear end off the ground, when i dropped the jack everything fell into place perfectly. I will try to post pics later!
