OK this one guy that i now wants to race me but i want to buy a new car and i dont know what to choose from. i dont know if i should get a jetta or a golf because he has a 1995 or 1996 honda civic 5 speed manual and i think the most horsepower he has is 180 but not sure what do u guys think i should buy jetta or golf and which type.

its your choice.
if you don't drive alot of people around then get a GTI.
if you take alot of friends around then get a Jetta.
the GTI is alittle faster then the jetta, it is a little smaller and lighter.
not sure on the HP on the new jettas, if the 2.0l is 200hp like the new GTI is going to be. But my 05 GTI is 180hp and handles alot better then my old 98 jetta 2.slow did. go take'm out for test drives and see which one you like. then make your choice. good luck
P.S. if you get a new VW don't go racing it without breaking it in first, don't care what other's say if you break a car in it will last longer, then beating the hell out of it right from the showroom.
