OK so it isnt a NASCAR truck but it feels brand new, has a better pep in its step, runs a lil smoother, takes off a lil easier, feels like its trying to pull in 3rd gear :grinno:.

Sure it isnt by the seat of your pants faster...but i can feel the extra power.

and is sounds hella good too

Before (it starts out 5ft away form the tail pipe and moves to the interior)

and after

(starts with the engine running and cuts, starts up agian and moves to the interior)

Even if i had paid the $240 it was well worth the money, i got it installed in less than 2hrs and the biggest PITA was getting the stock exaust off of the hangers with out removeing the hangers (not removing the hangers made putting the new exaust on a breeze).

as far as i can tell there are no leaks but i think the bigger pipe made the rubber flange seal singe a little. :iceslolan

Just like Gibson said the majority of the power increases are felt between 2000 and 4000 RPM.

So far thats all ive gotten for Xmas... we are opening the rest of the presents when my brother and sister in law get here. then all the others tomarrow when all the rest of the family and my GF are here.

Thanks, its Gibson Swet Side, its the exaust designed for more low end power and quite inside the cab. For Towing and Economy really. But on average (on this truck) it only gains 8whp and only a mere 4lb/ft of torque. But even 8WHP is about a 6% increase in power. However there where reports of gains of 1-2mpg with no other modifications...my plans are a TB spacer and Intake...if i can get 22mpg out of just this ill be extremely satisfied... 22000miles to pay for itsself and it will be done in a mater of 2 years.

Anyway
Here Are Some Pics

Tiny 1 3/4" tubing with crunched bends and crappy muffler.

Needless to say im very happy with it so far.

don't sound bad for a 6 cylinder. when i use to work at a shop, we installed a gibson on a 6 cylinder cherokee and it sounded kinda cheesy. but it sounds manilier on yours. i guess its the v6 that makes it sound better then a straight 6.

plus im a pushrod single cam V-6. the cherokee was likely DOHC (depending on the year).
