Ignitor

Ok....I have 90 CRX Si and the previous owner has the ignitor go on him so he replaced it. Since then I bought a ZC engine and put it in, the ignitor went on it so I put the relatively new ignitor (4 months old ) from the old engine in and it working for now. My question is if I buy a Crane Ignition Model HI-6TRC will it put on end to the troublesome ignitors of hondas from this year? I can get the system for 245 CDN and a ignitor costs about 100 CDN each time...so should I just get the Crane Ignition System?

Granted when the work they are beautiful. But i've had some sour experiences with them (of course some of my friends are worse off I think on this subject). As for which igniton, your probaly gonna wanna look at whatever replaces the entire distrubtor. Like the MSD system just give a differnt cap that lets you run a external coil but the stock ignitor is still in there. From what your saying i'd imagine the crane SHOULD replace the ignitor with something a litte more sturdy. Mabye someone else can dump some light on this on what they have done to their igition systems?
